Notes: 1) Figures for North Mitrovica, Leposaviq, Zubin Potok and Zveçan: for 2011 are given as the official estimate-2009 with further estimates based on this numbers, for 2024 - as sum of population covered by census and estimates for population not covered by census, which anyway appear to be underestimated. Estimates for Serbian population not covered by 2011 and 2024 censuses in other municipalities were not officially made, so the respective figures are also underestimated, especially for 2011 (with further estimates based on these numbers). L) The table uses official Albanian and Serbian (Latinic) names with the alternate Albanian names in brackets. S) Kosovo is recognized as an independent state by majority of UN members, but some may consider its territory as a formal part of Serbia.
